Police release details of search for missing child in Zagreb: All services on the ground, situation complicated by snow

An extensive search is underway for a child in the Sava River in Zagreb after police received a tip that the mother had entered the water with him, and the search is being made more difficult by nighttime and snow.

As RTL has learned, a search is underway for a three-year-old girl. The report reached the 112 center, which then forwarded the call to the police, and drones were deployed to complete the search.

Rescuers are facing problems due to the night and the very cold river, all of which further complicates the search.

The head of the Zagreb HGSS, Marin Lukas, told "Večernji List" that in extremely difficult conditions with snow and high water levels in the river, HGSS teams and other services are on the ground and taking all necessary measures to find the missing child.
