The police secured the polling station continuously until the end of the elections

In today's local elections, the police will secure the polling stations continuously starting from 6.00 am to 19.00 pm for the duration of the voting, after the closing of the polling station and during the summing up of the results and will remove all unauthorized persons from the facility.

The police provide the Election Board until the transfer of the minutes and the election material to the Municipal Election Commission, ie the Election Commission of the City of Skopje.

The Electoral Board will take care of the order and peace at the polling station and can
remove any person who disturbs the order and peace at the polling station. Board members can
seek police assistance in establishing order at the polling station.

The chairperson or deputy chairperson of the election board may call the police at the polling station if necessary. In the building and the room where the voting takes place and in its vicinity, the election board in cooperation with the police is obliged to remove the propaganda materials.

At the request of the President or the Deputy President of the Election Board, the police are obliged to remove the unauthorized persons present in the building and the voting room, as well as the unauthorized persons present in the building where the voting takes place within a radius of 100 meters.

The Electoral Board may suspend voting if the polling station is disturbed until it is established. Voting may also be suspended in the event of weather or other emergencies. The Electoral Board will terminate the voting if the access to the polling station is not provided by the police, and there was a need for that, or if she was called and did not answer the call. If the voting is interrupted for more than one hour, the voting will continue for as long as the interruption lasted, but not longer than three hours. The reasons for the interruption of the voting and the time for which the voting was interrupted shall be entered in the minutes of the Election Board.

In these elections, the police will constantly provide confidential election material as well.
