Consultations on the formation of a new Bulgarian government begin
The largest party in the Bulgarian parliament "We continue with the changes" is starting coalition negotiations for support for a new government, the MIA correspondent from Sofia reported.
The goal of "Continuing with Change" is to gather 121 Bulgarian parliamentarians to support the governance program for the next six months and lead Bulgaria through the economic and political crisis.
Today in the National Assembly of Bulgaria "We continue with the changes" there will be consultations with the Bulgarian Socialist Party and "Democratic Bulgaria".
"We continue with the changes" has until Friday, July 8, at 17 p.m., to inform the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, whether he has parliamentary support and a majority to govern in the National Assembly.
The Minister of Innovation and Development Daniel Lorer told BNT that he is optimistic about the formation of a new Bulgarian government within the framework of the 47th National Assembly. He said that Kiril Petkov will continue to be an active part of the government, but for now no one is thinking about places and positions, but about parliamentary support.
