Sveto Serafimov, the legend of Macedonian journalism, has died

Today, on November 14, 2021, at the age of 93, the legend of the Macedonian died
journalism, Sveto Serafimov.

Born in 1928, in Tetovo, Sveto Serafimov, on the pages of "Nova Makedonija" created the standards of Macedonian journalism in the middle of the 20th century, at the level of the then world-class journalistic professionalism, while in 1956 he was the leader of the struggle. for the independence of Cyprus from British colonialism.

Sveto Serafimov was engaged in translations almost until the end of his life. He has translated more than a hundred books into Macedonian.

Serafimov will be buried in the cemetery in the Skopje village of Oreshani, on Monday, November 15.
