Prof. Dr. Jovan Jurukovski, a prominent gynecologist and obstetrician, whose influence in medicine and education will remain remembered, has passed away.

Prof. Dr. Jurukovski was a full professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, where he served as Vice-Dean and Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. For many years, he was also the Director of the Gynecological and Obstetrics Clinic in Skopje, where his efforts led to the introduction of modern medical standards and criteria.

With his expertise and vision, he laid the foundations for the development of this branch of medicine in Macedonia. Prof. Dr. Jurukovski was the author of many articles in his field, both domestically and internationally, including research published in Oxford, England, where he spent part of his education and received an offer for a professorship.

In addition to his academic and clinical career, Prof. Dr. Jurukovski was the founder of the Jurukovski Primary Health Center, a private healthcare institution offering high-quality gynecological and obstetric services. His dedication to medicine and education has established him as one of the leading experts in this field.
