Alec Baldwin's mother dies: She lived the life of a fighter
Kerol M. Baldwin, the mother of Alec Baldwin, died today at the age of 93. The family said goodbye to her by posting on the actor's official Instagram account.
Carol M. Baldwin, the mother of actors Alec, Daniel, William and Stephen Baldwin and two daughters Elizabeth and Jane, died today in Syracuse, New York. "She was 92 years old," reads the description of the photo.

"In 1991, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She survived the disease and joined a support group for breast cancer survivors in Long Island. In collaboration with Stony Brook University and with the support of then-Shirley Strum University President Kenny, the Carol M. Breast Cancer Research Foundation was opened on campus. "Baldwin," the statement said, adding that the fund had raised millions of dollars.
