Ljiljana Sedlar, the actress from "Better Life" and "Zhikina Dynasty", died

Serbian actress Ljiljana Sedlar died at the age of 80 after a short illness, confirmed for Serbian Courier friends of the actress.

Ljiljana Sedlar was born on November 1, 1943 in Belgrade, and in her decades-long career she played dozens of roles.

She played her first role on the big screen in 1968 in the film "Under the Glass Bell", after which roles followed in "The Described", "My Father at a Certain Time", "Wire Dynasty", "Divorce at a Certain Time", "Spy". on high heels" and many others.

Ljiljana Sedlar is best known for her role as Duda Pavlovic, the famous mother-in-law of Sasha Popadic in the cult series "A Better Life". Ljiljana appeared in 20 episodes of the famous series.

She is also known for her role in the movie "Tell me why you left me". She played her last role in 1998 in "Vraćanje", in which she played the character of the mother of Nikola's girlfriend, after which she retired.

She was a long-time member of the Belgrade Drama Theater. She was engaged in cultural and artistic work in social organizations. For some time she was also the director of the Belgrade Drama Theater.

Sedlar also performed on other Belgrade stages.
