The winner of the Montenegrin lying competition rested for 60 hours: I didn't even warm up
Zarko Pejanovic from the Zabjelo neighborhood in Podgorica is the winner of the 12th lying-down competition traditionally held in Montenegro in the ethno-village "Montenegro" near Nikšić.
Traditional competition: Montenegrins break the record in lying down and dengubing
Pejanovic endured 60 hours lying down and for his endeavor won 350 euros, rafting, a weekend in the ethnic village, lunch for two in a restaurant in Podgorica and many more prizes from the sponsors of the event.
"It wasn't difficult, believe me, I didn't even warm up," he told "Glas Zabiela". "When a company comes to support the competitors, it's fun, but the biggest mistake is when someone's family comes. "When someone's family members come, it's hard not to get up," he explained.
Let's remind you, in the grand final of the competition for the title of "biggest sloth", in addition to Zharko, he also competed Vuk Koljensic who won second place.
The unusual competition is organized for the twelfth year in a row, and this year nine competitors from Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Belgrade tried to break the record of 117 hours of lying down.
However, it looks like we'll have to wait at least another year for anyone to break the record they set last year. Dubravka Aleksic from Podgorica.
