The International Football Federation (FIFA) today opened a procedure against the Football Union of Serbia. The Football Association of Serbia is accused of placing a political banner for Kosovo in the dressing room before the match against Brazil.

On the Thursday before the game in the Serbian dressing room there was a Serbian flag with the map of Kosovo and the inscription "No Surrender".

The Minister of Culture of Kosovo, Hajrulah Waits he complained to FIFA about this I know and stated that the World Cup was used to promote "xenophobic, genocidal and hateful messages towards Kosovo".

FIFA states in the open procedure that it is investigating "misbehaviour, including offensive gestures, signs or language and the promotion of matters not related to football".

For now, it is not known when the World House of Football will pass the verdict. Serbia will play its next match on Monday at 11:00 a.m. against Cameroon.
