Almost three years after it was canceled: Marvel is considering restarting Daredevil with Netflix actors

The original cast of the series would play new versions of the same characters, with different histories and altered stories in order to align with Marvel's cinematic universe. This would open up new possibilities for the Daredevil cast, as well as opportunities for characters like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage to appear.

Immediately after the expiration of Netflix rights to the characters from the series "Daredevil", at the end of last year, there were speculations that Matt Murdoch (Charlie Cox) will appear in the upcoming movie for "Spider-Man", whose premiere is scheduled for December this year. He would appear as a lawyer for Peter Parker (Tom Holland), while Vincent D'Onofrio would reprise his role as Wilson Fisk in Disney + 's upcoming Hawkeye series.

After the Daredevil series was canceled in 2018, Marvel fans and the story of the "man without fear" have been looking for years for their favorite Netflix series to get a new life. At the very least, they want the characters portrayed through the series to enter Marvel's cinematic universe.

And now it seems that there is a possibility that their wish will come true. According to the latest rumors, "Marvel" is considering restarting "Daredevil" with the Netflix actors.

This time, the rumors come from Daniel Richman

According to Daniel Richman (via Knight Edge Media), Marvel is considering a soft reboot of Netflix's Daredevil, which means the original cast of the series will play new versions of the same characters, with different histories and altered stories in order to align with Marvel's cinematic universe. This would open up new possibilities for the Daredevil cast, as well as opportunities for characters like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage to appear.

It is rumored that members of the Daredevil cast will appear in the upcoming Marvel Echo series as well, starring Alakua Cox as a deaf superhero.

It is still unclear whether this is a Disney + series or a movie, and for now it is important to remember that this is a rumor, not a confirmed information.

Cox continues to deny

Recently, Cox denied that he would appear in the upcoming Spider-Man movie at all, commenting that he "honestly" does not know what will happen to the character.

- My answer is: "No comment". I do not know what will happen, I honestly do not know. Cox recently told Forbes.

He admitted that he would not like to say anything that could potentially jeopardize his chance to return, but expressed gratitude to the fans who have been loudly expressing their wishes and expectations all this time.

- If there is a chance that this will happen in the future, I do not want to say something that could potentially jeopardize those chances because people in senior positions at Marvel may see and hear these things, and it may have an impact. But I really like how passionate the fans are and I feel very, very moved that so many of them are loud on the internet for their desire to come back. Said Cox.
