"PNV Publications" published a translation of the book "Tenant" by Filip Grujic from Serbia

The promotion of the novel "Tenant" by Filip Grujic from Serbia took place on October 5 on the plateau in front of MKC. The novel is published by "PNV Publications", and the translation from Serbian into Macedonian is by Sasho Ognenovski, who in the presence of the author was the promoter of the book.

The conversation with the author was moderated by Julijana Velickovska. The publication is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.

- The novel "Tenant" is a fun read, it is read quickly, captivates with its simplicity both thematically and stylistically, it is unpretentious and provokes thoughts, very often smiles, but also a feeling of nausea, caused by bluntness and stagnation, by the monotony of everyday life , which no matter how many challenges, misunderstandings and seemingly complex situations in interpersonal relationships, is largely predictable, and thus boring. Atmosphere that is perfectly captured in this book, said Velichkovska.

Filip Grujic (1995, Novi Sad) is a graduate playwright who lives and works in Belgrade. His novel The Tenant was shortlisted for the NIN Award and shortlisted for the European Union Award.

(The text was published in "Cultural Press" No. 100, in the print edition of the newspaper "Free Press" on October 9-11, 2021)
