Playboy refresh: Cardi Be is the new creative director!
Playboy has announced that Cardi B will be their first resident creative director.
"Realizing my dream is to officially join the Playboy family! "I can not believe this is real!" Said the 29-year-old Grammy winner in a statement posted on Playboy's Instagram account on Thursday.
The announcement was accompanied by a collage of the rapper "WAP" with a large necklace of "Playboy Bunny" covered with diamonds.

In addition to joining the Playboy brand as a Resident Creative Director, the rapper will be a founding member of Centerfold, the creators-led Playboy digital platform.
Centerfold allows creators to communicate directly with online fans and serves as an e-commerce platform for consumers to buy Playboy products and goods, Forbes reported.

"Our new creator-led service, Centerfold, will build on Playboy's long history of providing leading voices with a secure platform for creative expression," said Ben Cohn, CEO of PLBY Group Inc., the company that is the owner of Playboy.
PLBY Group Inc. finalized its acquisition of Dream, a $ 30 million social media platform, in October and will reportedly use Dream's technology infrastructure as the basis for Centerfold.
Playboy is expected to launch Centerfold later this month.
