After a plastic surgeon pointed out to her what a model is Paulina Porishkova (57) should "fix" the face, she retorted.

"I found this photo that I posted before and thought I looked great in it, I found it on the profile of a plastic surgeon who explained in detail what I needed to fix. Those boring hollows under my cheeks can be fixed with fillers, botox can fix my forehead, wrinkles on the side of my lips and neck with a lot of laser to tighten and smooth everything," she wrote on her Instagram profile.

"That's what older women have to deal with in public." I was told that my face needed to be fixed because it had somehow deteriorated over the years," the model wrote and asked, "Is it any wonder that most of us who have the opportunity to resort to some form of cosmetic repair for what we are told is bad?'

The model revealed that she has undergone certain cosmetic treatments such as laser and plasma pen and wrote: "I would like to find a balance between being proud of how I look my age and occasionally feeling beautiful."

She admitted that in her work she had to face the appearance of her own face and that she struggles with accepting imperfections. "Even though I've accepted most of it, it's still hard for me to accept everything," Paulina said.

"Telling a woman what to do to make herself more attractive is wrong, whether it's hair color, make-up, cream, clothes or other more invasive options. … Every time you think or say to your friend, “you know, I should…” Stop for a moment. If she doesn't ask for help, are you really helping her? Better emphasize the beauty in her," said the model.

The plastic surgeon then deleted his post.

Paulina previously defended herself after an Instagram user criticized her for posting bikini photos: "It must be hurting you to keep posting bikini photos at that age. I've always thought that beautiful people have the hardest time getting old and ugly. I pray that you come to terms with your mortality.”

The model replied that there is no such thing as ugly and old.
