Reaction of prof. dr. Kocho Angjushev after today's announcement to the public published by the Energy Commission of the political party VMRO-DPMNE:

Regarding today's announcement to the public entitled "SDSM brought ELEM to bankruptcy, because of that 7-8 times more expensive electricity is imported", published by the Energy Commission of the political party VMRO-DPMNE, where in untrue and negative context my name, I am obliged to inform the public of the following:

I strongly deny that any company in which I or my family are part of the ownership structure, has any connection with the photovoltaic plant "Oslomej". All the speculations that place the opposite are inaccurate and extremely tendentious with the sole purpose of damaging my reputation, my family and the reputation of the companies I run.

All my professional and social activity is focused on domestic economic development, we are constantly investing in the introduction of state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly technologies, and I personally invest all my knowledge and capacity in efforts to transform the energy sector into a system that will be stable and sustainable. . The companies I run employ over 1.000 people, fill the state budget and are the engine of economic development. Our products are exported to 42 countries worldwide, we participate in markets such as the USA, UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Portugal, Australia and many others. For these successes we have never asked, nor will we ask for privileges or special treatment from anyone, but at least we expect a fair, correct approach and not to be abused in anyone's media and political agenda.

Finally, I urge all political parties to stop mentioning my name and family in their daily political squabbles. I am not partisan, nor do I have political ambitions. I was part of a political government as a proposal of the Chamber of Commerce and during my term as Deputy Prime Minister everything I did was exclusively aimed at improving the living standards of citizens and developing the domestic economy. I am especially proud of the "Energy Development Strategy in the Republic of Northern Macedonia until 2040" and I think it is an excellent document that should serve as a signpost for this and the next Governments.

With respect,

prof. dr. Kocho Angjushev
