Petrovska visiting the Macedonian soldiers who are part of the multinational NATO forces in Bulgaria

The Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska will today visit the members of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia who are part of the multinational NATO forces in Bulgaria, the Ministry of Defense announced.

At the base in Novo Selo, where the multinational forces of NATO are located, Minister Petrovska and her Bulgarian colleague Todor Tagarev will be welcomed by the Macedonian and Bulgarian contingents, after which Minister Petrovska will have a meeting with the Macedonian soldiers deployed in these NATO forces.

The Army of the Republic of North Macedonia has been contributing to the multinational forces of NATO since November 2022, with a contingent of one platoon. In these forces there are over 1.000 members from the allies North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece, Montenegro, Turkey and the United States, under the leadership of Italy.
