Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, in talk of "360 degrees", answered the question - what exactly is expected from the Republic of Northern Macedonia in terms of the rights of Bulgarians in the country.

- Two things are important. First, it is important to say that the Bulgarians in Northern Macedonia have equal rights with other constituent peoples. And of course, not only for that, but as a principle, to be sure that there will be no language of hatred, discrimination and there will be no neglect of human rights for all citizens in the Republic of Northern Macedonia. In other words, we want to be sure, and I think it is good for both the Republic of Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria, that all the rights of Bulgarians in the Republic of Northern Macedonia as well as other communities are equal, and are equal before the law. , says Petkov.

The Bulgarian Prime Minister believes that "this is not interference with you, it is generally European".

- I think that the Republic of Northern Macedonia should set it at a high level. That should be a fact for all EU citizens. So, from that point of view, I want to say very clearly that I am glad that so many years ago we recognized the Republic of Northern Macedonia as an independent state with all the rights that an independent state should have. "The issue here is to be sure that we do not allow any nationalist sentiments to be an occasion for discrimination," said the Bulgarian prime minister.
