"I am very sorry that Danela Arsovska did not recognize the handshake by the Government, and this day she managed to quarrel with everyone, said Zlatko Perinski, Minister of Local Self-Government, speaking about her performance after yesterday's meeting in the Government.
"VMRO-DPMNE currently has 16 councilors out of a total of 45 within the Council of the City of Skopje. "I don't see the possibility or need for the same 16 councilors to block any processes in the City of Skopje," Perinski said.
Perinski gave an example pointing out that in the investment program related to Communal Hygiene, which was passed in the Council.
"The question is the following, should a decision be made for Communal Hygiene to collect garbage from the containers in the city of Skopje. No, Communal Hygiene works according to a strictly established operational plan that it carries out and should work within its legally established authority, nothing more, nothing less," says Perinski, adding that citizens are not obliged to put up with this.
Perinski informed that Arsovska was called to the Government to explain the situation mainly in Communal hygiene and JSP, and that the Government should help according to the legal possibilities.
"We expected her to tell us how much machinery Communal hygiene has, but we didn't get any answer," informed Perinski.
Perinski pointed out that the problems can be solved tomorrow if it is acted according to the law and institutionally, every other procedure only takes time.
"We are analyzing, firstly, the legal modality and secondly, what the withdrawal of credentials will mean in practice," said Perinsky, explaining that the goal is not only to revoke the credentials.
