During today's visit to a market in the Taftalidze neighborhood of Skopje by the Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and the Minister of Economy, Kreshnik Bekteshi, a pensioner used the opportunity to ask Kovacevski how someone with 12.000 denars can survive the month nowadays.

The prices are up to the ceiling, with two denars of macaroni and one denar of eggs which were 99 denars is not a measure. A very difficult life has come, so we can't even buy medicine, the woman complained.

The prime minister replied that since he became prime minister, pensions have increased to 16 percent, and he announced a new increase in pensions in September by as much as 25 percent. Regarding the high prices of food products, Kovachevski added that this is a result of the war in Ukraine.
