Pendarovski - Radev: Commitment to expanding cooperation in several areas of mutual interest

The possibilities for further improvement of the political and economic relations between North Macedonia and Bulgaria, as well as the current challenges from the energy crisis that Europe is facing, were the main topic of the meeting of President Stevo Pendarovski in Sofia with his Bulgarian colleague Rumen Radev.

As announced by the Cabinet of the Head of State, Presidents Pendarovski and Radev committed to expanding cooperation in several areas of mutual interest.

- The two presidents exchanged information about the situation with the energy crisis and how to deal with it. At the meeting, opinions were exchanged regarding the possibilities of purchasing electricity from the Republic of Bulgaria, in compliance with European regulations, the statement added.
