President Stevo Pendarovski congratulated on the occasion of May 24, The day of the all-Slavic educators St. Cyril and Methodius.

We convey the congratulations in full:

"Dear fellow citizens,

Let me congratulate you on May 24, the Day of the All-Slavic educators, the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, and I wish us to spend this great holiday in good health, peace and harmony, in love and joy.

The day dedicated to the Thessalonian brothers, who not only laid the foundations of spirituality and literacy among the Slavic peoples but also inaugurated ideas and works filled with humanity and philanthropy and which have admirers and followers around the world, is more than a holiday for us. We have a special debt and gratitude for their work, which is our spiritual and cultural foundation, but also a worldview and a pledge for the future. St. Cyril and Methodius are and should remain a guide for us on how to persevere both as individuals and as a nation.

Dear,

And eleven centuries after the repose of St. Cyril and Methodius, the advocates of the truth and the tireless protectors of the weak and the oppressed, their deeds and their thoughts are still alive, but, unfortunately, the dogmas they fought against are also alive. There are still those who claim the right to have exclusivity over the common and common goods and try to subjugate and condition the others. Progress and well-being are possible only by sharing common values, by giving and by helping, and not by greed, selfishness and domination. This is exactly what the work of St. Cyril and Methodius.

May 24, the Day of St. Cyril and Methodius".
