Today, President Stevo Pendarovski received a delegation from the Albanian Parliament, led by Mimi Kodeli, MP and Chairwoman of the Foreign Policy Committee.

At the meeting, President Pendarovski pointed out that our country has a clear commitment to continue mutual cooperation with Albania through open and constructive political dialogue, as the most acceptable possible way to build good neighborly relations and a prosperous future. In that context, he stressed the importance of continuing the dynamic cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.

In addition, opinions and information were exchanged on European integration, as well as on the latest developments after the meeting of the General Affairs Council of the European Union. The interlocutors agreed that both Northern Macedonia and Albania deserve to start negotiations with the European Union immediately, and assessed that it will have a positive impact on the entire region and is a geostrategic investment in a stable and prosperous Union.
