Pendarovski: Mickoski the other day called for the formation of an all-Macedonian patriotic front, just like during the regime

Pendarovski also referred to Siljanovska's recent statement in which she said that she would make a new civil constitution, and at the same time, as Pendarovski underlined, she did not explain whether there would be a place for Macedonians in it.

At today's civic meeting in Skopje, presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski also referred to inter-ethnic relations, noting that since the country's independence, they are the most stable because, as he said, this political group knows that apart from Euro-Atlantic integration, coexistence is one of the the two key factors for the country's progress. But even on this issue, he added, the opposition does not take care.

"Before every election, as a rule, they demand 61 MPs so that they were allegedly not conditioned by the Albanians, and the other day they called for the formation of an all-Macedonian patriotic front, just like during the regime, not taking into account that ethnic homogenization in a multi-ethnic state like ours is a recipe for destabilization", emphasized Pendarovski.

In that context, Pendarovski also referred to Siljanovska's recent statement in which she said that she would create a new civil constitution, while, as Pendarovski underlined, she did not explain whether there would be a place for Macedonians in it.

"The most recent idea promoted in their campaign is the proposal for a completely new civil constitution, for which the opposition party has not yet said why we need it and whether such a constitution can violate the concept established by the Framework Agreement," Pendarovski said.
