After the meeting of the Central Committee of the Patriotic Institute of VMRO-DPMNE, a decision was made to organize an all-day presence at the grave of Gotse Delchev on February 4. They invited all citizens who respect Delchev's work to participate in the event.

First, we condemn the chauvinism and negationist policies coming from Bulgaria and further fueled by individuals in Bulgarian politics. Secondly, we make an open call to the Government to react more energetically in relation to the negative policy and take adequate measures that will ensure respect for our identity and uniqueness. Any negation towards the existence of the Macedonian people and its characteristics should be followed by a note of protest and reaction of the Macedonian institutions. The state exists for the people, not the people for the state, said Aleksandar Pandov, president of the Patriotic Institute of VMRO-DPMNE "Goce Delchev".

Thirdly, they asked the government to take steps to prevent foreign propaganda and agendas.
