Patriarch Bartholomew released from hospital, continues his visit to the United States
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who was hospitalized in the US capital yesterday, was discharged from the hospital today. The 81-year-old clergyman is ready to continue the visit, said the press service of the American Archdiocese of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

The 81-year-old priest was taken to George Washington University Hospital yesterday, where he was advised to rest and placed under medical supervision after arriving on a 12-day visit to the United States on Saturday. Patriarch Bartholomew's visit includes meetings with US President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
