Patriarch Porphyry: 55-year-old deep and painful wound finally healed
Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) Porphyry Today at the liturgy for reconciliation with the Macedonian Church he said that after 55 years "the deep and painful wound of schism" healed between the two churches and that this is a great day and miracle of God.
"Let us rejoice and let us rejoice, let us rejoice, brothers and sisters, because today the fullness of the church rejoices, heaven and earth rejoice, all the saints rejoice, Saint Sava and all who are planted in its root," he said.
