A passenger tried to open the door, the plane made an emergency landing
Passengers of the British TUI plane on the route Cyprus - Great Britain experienced real drama when one of them, allegedly under the influence of opiates, tried to open the emergency exit, shouting "see you in heaven", and the plane made an emergency landing at the airport in Zagreb.
According to Croatian media, the incident happened in the night between Monday and Tuesday.
Passengers said the plane took off from Cyprus six hours late and then a man allegedly "consumed white powder" during the flight.
Eyewitnesses claim it was cocaine, after which he first prayed between the seats on the floor of the plane, and then at one point headed for the emergency exit and tried to open it, telling them "see you in heaven", reports Croatian portal Croatia aviation
Several passengers managed to overpower the man by knocking him to the floor and thus prevented his unreasonable attempt.
