A ban on the movement of heavy trucks was introduced on the mountain pass Strazha this morning at 06:30. There is a ban on trucks on the road Tetovo - Popova Sapka, as well as on the mountain pass Gjavato. For other types of vehicles, the use of winter equipment is mandatory, informs AMSM and PE Makedonijapat.

On the other roads, the traffic is on wet roads, in some higher places there are remains of slush on the road.

The traffic intensity on the roads outside the urban areas is moderate. At the border crossings, on the Macedonian side, there are no longer delays for entry and exit from the country.

AMSM recommends adjusted speed, observance of the set traffic signals and careful management of vehicles, especially on the roads through the valleys, river valleys and gorges, where there is a possibility of landslides. This especially refers to the sections Katlanovo - Veles, Mavrovo - Debar - Struga, Vinica - Berovo and Kocani - Delchevo.

The legal obligation for mandatory possession of winter equipment in vehicles began on November 15, regardless of the current weather conditions. This commitment will last until March 15, 2022.
