Paris urged Belgrade and Pristina to take the necessary measures to reduce tensions
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France expressed solidarity with the soldiers of the KFOR mission who were injured yesterday in Zvečana and called on the parties, especially the Government of Kosovo, to take measures to calm the tensions.
"France expresses full solidarity with the soldiers of the KFOR mission, several members of which were injured today during the conflict in the north of Kosovo when they intervened in the execution of their mission between Serbian protesters and Kosovo police forces," the ministry said on Twitter.
The French Ministry invited Belgrade and Pristina to return to the negotiating table and find a solution within the dialogue.
"We strongly condemn the violence and call on the parties, especially the Government of Kosovo, to immediately take the necessary measures to reduce tensions."
