The Government was expected to change its mind about the measures proposed by the Commission for Infectious Diseases for mandatory immunization of public sector employees, due to haste, insufficient analysis and many questions that the Commission did not answer to the public, he said in an interview with Telma. the famous Macedonian microbiologist Nikola Panovski.

Until now, antibody screening had to be done in the unvaccinated, and especially in young people. Authorities need to take long-term measures, as a strong campaign to immunize the population is currently lacking. This is exactly what anti-vaccines are used for, who constantly bombard people and social networks with misinformation or half-truths, and the medical staff in the country, which appeals and supports immunization, is often publicly lynched and insulted, he said.

Panovski proposes strengthening the measures, intensifying the campaign, but also the controls for mandatory wearing of masks, keeping the distance.
