At the border crossings, the control system failed, and work is currently underway to improve it.

- The Ministry of the Interior informs that the border crossing system is not in operation, but teams are working to improve it. Only emergency cases are selectively missed, says the information from the Ministry of the Interior.

 At the border crossing to Bulgaria, "Deve Bair", there has been increased police and border control since this morning, but the flow of passengers entering the country is almost minimal.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs - Regional Center for Border Affairs "East" informs that there are no organized groups of Bulgarian citizens who have so far crossed the border, on the occasion of the celebration of the birthday of Gotse Delchev.

As of this morning, from 7:XNUMX a.m. until now, only about twenty foreign tourists transiting through North Macedonia have entered the country by organized international bus transport, while no other persons have yet entered the country through this border crossing.

The frequency of out-of-state travelers is somewhat higher, but common when it comes to weekend trips.

Mostly vehicles pass by from Skopje and other cities in the country heading to the winter tourist centers in Bulgaria, and the flow of passenger trucks is also regular.
