During the past night, the first snow fell on the higher parts of the municipalities of Gazi Baba and Butel, so the municipal services cleared all critical points and ensured the passability of the roads.

The crisis headquarters was on duty all day long, but the snow did not stay on the roadways anywhere. Early this morning, teams from PUC "Gazi Baba" threw salt and sand on part of the road between Bulachani and Rashtak settlements in order to prevent freezing and enable normal traffic flow. We are following the announcements of a decrease in temperatures and possible new precipitation - informs the mayor Boban Stefkovski.

He said that the citizens can be calm, because the municipal services are ready to successfully deal with all challenges in winter conditions.

Butel Municipality also claims that they welcomed the first snow with a quick and timely reaction.

The services are on the ground and the first drifts of snow have been cleared. All higher places and critical points in Butel Municipality, Ljubanci village and Ljuboten village have been cleared. We appeal to drivers to be careful and adjust their speed according to road conditions -  announced the mayor of Butel, Darko Kostovski, who claims that all streets are passable and in drivable condition and that the crisis headquarters is constantly monitoring the situation.
