The Ohrid Swimming Marathon will not be held this year
President Stevo Pendarovski had a meeting with the president of the National Swimming Federation, Goran Stojanovski.
They discussed the realized activities of the National Swimming Federation, the organizational problems and challenges on the domestic and international level, as well as the future plans of the federation.
Stojanovski informed that it will not be held this year Ohrid swimming marathon which is traditionally held under the auspices of the President of the country.
The president of the National Swimming Federation explained the reasons for that decision, which are related to the blocked account of the federation and the financial operations of the previous management, according to a statement from the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski.
The marathon is traditionally held in the last week of August, last year the winner was Frenchman Axel Remont.
