A new retirement club has opened in the Beverly Hills Mall in Kapishtec. The Mayor of the Municipality of Centar visited the pensioners, taking chess, dominoes, cards and checkers, as additional activities for socializing and relaxation of the pensioners in Kapishtec.

- The Association of Pensioners in the Municipality of Centar with over 10.000 members is one of the most numerous and most active associations of pensioners at the state level. That is why it is important to constantly introduce new activities and more intensive collaborations. I had a great time with the pensioners here in Kapishtec, we talked about the needs and the new activities that strengthen the socialization between them. It is important to take care of our oldest citizens, because we owe it to them, Gerasimovski pointed out.

The Municipality of Centar informs that the retirement club in Kapishtec is the first to be opened by the three announced in the pre-election campaign. Next year, two new retirement clubs will be opened, one in Krnjevo and the other near the Universal Hall.

In cooperation with the Association "Humanity", the Municipality provides free medical care and administrative assistance through the project "Care for the elderly at home", a project that retirees assess as the most necessary and most successful for them.

The Municipality of Centar already has five functional retirement clubs in the urban community Mirce Acev in Debar Maalo, another near the Green Market, another in the settlement Prolet near Vero Jumbo, on the street "Vodnjanska" and in the urban community "Mirce Acev", where the elderly can to rest, socialize and recreate.
