The British media write that it has been revealed what is in the secret safe of the British royal family. These are wills that contain the last words of the members of the royal family.

The vault also contains the will of Prince Philip, along with the wills of 32 other senior members of the royal family. He is being cared for by Supreme Court Justice Sir Andrew McFarlane.

He revealed to the British media that the messages date back to Prince Francis in 1911, and included the last wishes of Queen Elizabeth's mother, her sister Princess Margaret and King Edward VIII. Other wills in this top-secret safe include those of Philip's uncle, Lord Louis Mountbatten of Burma, Queen Mary, the wife of King George V, and Princess Beatrice.

"I am now the keeper of a safe containing more than thirty envelopes, each of which allegedly contains a sealed will of a deceased member of the royal family. I can confirm that the earliest such envelope is the one containing the will of Prince Francis. "The latest additions were made in 2002 and are the wills of Queen Elizabeth, her mother and Princess Margaret," McFarlane said.

However, apart from the information whose wills are kept in the royal safe in addition to that of the Duke of Edinburgh, the chances of details of some documents coming out to the public are very small. In a statement issued in September, McFarlane said the royal family has the right to an increased level of privacy to protect the dignity and reputation of the public role of family members.

He added that the publication of the list serves to achieve transparency, but nothing more than that.

Let us recall, Prince Philip died in April this year, and his will, as well as the wills of all members of the royal family, will remain secret for at least 90 years.
