In "Idrizovo" prison, a tunnel was discovered from the promenade of the closed part of the prison leading outside the prison, intended for the escape of prisoners with high sentences. This information was confirmed by the director of the Sanctions Enforcement Administration, Jovica Stojanovic.
Unofficially, the tunnel is about 60 meters long, and there were support beams in it. The tunnel was dug for about four to five months, and the lighting was solved with a loose cable and lamps.
A police investigation team is on the ground, and the Ministry of the Interior announced more details for later.
