The Ilinden uprising is a Macedonian uprising. August 2 is a national holiday of the Macedonian people. Gotse Delchev was, and is, Macedonian. That's how it was and that's how it will remain. Therefore, we reject a new political history of Macedonia and Macedonians at the request of Athens and Sofia. Without Macedonia and the Macedonian people, there is no peace in the Balkans and in Europe.

This message was sent by  the traditional 53. SMacedonian meeting that took place in the churchyard "Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary" in the village of Trnovo in the Lower Pelister region, on the occasion of August 2, Ilinden - Republic Day.

Addressing the meeting in Trnovo, aAcademician Katica Qulafkova before attendees emphasized that Macedonia has the right to success, and Macedonians have the right to happiness.

- The Ilinden uprising is a tragic culmination of the idea that Macedonia should be united and independent, but also an act of political legitimation of the Macedonian national cause. Macedonia is a territory, but also a nation, a state, but also a region. As long as her name lasts, so will the name of the people. Macedonia is not going anywhere. And the Macedonians are leaving. Therefore, they should return. And they will come back when Macedonia will be a prosperous country and when the international institutions will irrevocably recognize the rights that follow according to the universal conventions - pointed out academician Katica Kulafkova at the All-Macedonian meeting in Trnovo.

 МFinance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Chicken before those present on behalf of the Government, he emphasized that in this All-Macedonian meeting there are many mixed feelings of those who have remained here, in their hearths, and of those who have left and are returning to their homeland to see their loved ones and return to where they were they belong and are always here with the heart.

- Macedonia is here for everyone. Everyone loves Macedonia in their own way and everyone in their own way should strive for what our ancestors in the distant year 1903 and 1944 and everyone after that created and built and left to future generations. On behalf of the Government, I can say that we will take care of everyone equally wherever you are. Before us is the exam that we have to pass, and its weight is huge because we have a responsibility to all of you in Trnovo, Kruševo, Skopje, Bitola, the USA, Australia, Europe and everywhere to make a brighter future and better opportunities for everyone - said the minister of finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Chicken.

 At the meeting in Trnovo, Aleksandar Janevski, president of The Association of Macedonians from the Aegean part of Macedonia in Bitola pointed out that the Dimitrov-Kozias agreement of July 17, 2018 is a continuation of the Bucharest agreement and it legalizes the occupation of Macedonia.

- This is precisely why we demand from the Government an unconditional unilateral termination of the agreements with Athens and Sofia and the dissolution of the Commissions with Greece and Bulgaria for the revision of Macedonian history - said Janevski in front of the audience.

The President of World Macedonian Кongress Todor Petrov, at today's All-Macedonian meeting in the village of Trnovo in the Lower Pleistocene region, emphasized that the Nivice Agreement is a flagrant violation of domestic and international law, aimed at sanctioning the Bucharest Agreement of August 10, 1913, to turn Macedonia from a state into a territory without Macedonian people and history, whose administrators will be Athena and Sofia.

- Therefore, this Agreement is null and void and is not part of the internal legal order of the State of Macedonia, because Macedonia is a sovereign and independent state whose sovereignty is indivisible, inalienable and non-transferable. Without sovereignty, there is no democracy and high treason is not democracy. Anyone who says or writes "northern" commits crimes against the state. Therefore, it is the government's obligation, based on international law, to immediately and urgently terminate the Dimitrov-Kozias agreement, said Petrov.

 Гthe mayor of Bitola Toni Konjanovski as patron of Sthe Macedonian meeting in Trnovo emphasized that the Municipality of Bitola continues to be a supporter of this meeting which unites all Macedonians from Bitola, Macedonia and expatriates who are in large numbers in their native Bitola these days.

- With all our activities and engagements as a local self-government, I hope that we will encourage the emigrants to return to Macedonia and Bitola, to their hometown, and to jointly continue to invest for better living conditions and progress and greater prospects for young people- said Bitola mayor Konjanovski.
