The Basic Court in Kocani extended the detention of ten people, a decision is being made on six.

The Basic Court in Kocani has so far issued decisions to extend the short-term detention of 48 hours for ten people in the case of the fire at the "Pulse" disco, while the remaining six are still being decided.

According to information from MIA, a decision has not yet been made on the extension of the detention of former Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi.

JORSM informs that the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office of Kocani has submitted proposals to the competent court for the extension of the measure of short-term detention for another 48 hours for 16 people so far included in the procedure, whose measures expire during the day.

Two more people, upon the proposal of the prosecution, were ordered to be detained yesterday and are still in custody. In total, short-term detention has been requested for 18 people so far.

A fire at the Pulse discotheque early Sunday morning killed 59 people and injured over 150.

The prosecution requests an extension of the short-term detention for another 48 hours for 16 people in connection with the fire in Kocani.
