The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani will participate today in Turin in the 132nd Ministerial Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. The Ministerial Session, chaired by Italy, will be attended by the Foreign Ministers of the 46 member states of Europe's oldest organization for human rights, democracy and the rule of law.

The session is expected to discuss several current topics, focusing on the consequences of the Russian Federation's aggression on Ukraine, which, among other things, led to Russia's exclusion from the Organization in March this year. The meeting will also hand over the presidency of the Committee from Italy to Ireland for the next six months, the Foreign Ministry said.

On the sidelines of the ministerial session, Osmani is scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, as well as with senior representatives of Ukraine and the Council of Europe.
