Osmani traveled to New York, he will represent Kosovo before the UN Security Council

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani left last night for the USA to represent Kosovo in the Security Council of the United Nations, at the session that will be held on Monday, April 22, the correspondent of MIA from Pristina reported.

As the Office of the President of Kosovo announced, Osmani is expected to speak at the UN Security Council session about progress, the implementation of reforms, human rights, democracy, the rule of law and other topics of importance for Kosovo.

"The president will also talk about the need for justice for the crimes committed by Serbia in Kosovo," the statement said.

During her stay in New York, Osmani, as her office announced, "is expected to meet and coordinate with some of the permanent representatives of friendly countries at the United Nations."

The meeting of the United Nations Security Council for Kosovo will be held on Monday at 16:10 CET, i.e. at XNUMX:XNUMX New York time.
