The information about my transfer is fake news and it does not deserve any comment, said today the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani regarding the alleged offer for his dismissal from the ministerial post.

Regarding the open letter from a group of DUI members, Osmani said that there is a high level of democracy in the party and everyone can express their opinion, but that the leader Ali Ahmeti has the last word.

- With Ahmeti's statement yesterday, I think that story is over, said Osmani, answering a journalist's question at today's briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Asked whether intra-party turmoil will affect the stability of the Government, Osmani said that DUI has been a factor of stability for the past 20 years and will continue to do so.

- DUI is a stable political structure, we do not expect any further development of events, added Osmani.

Twenty disgruntled DUI members, including Moussa Xhaferi, Izet Majiti, Nevzat Beita, Blerim Bejeti and Visat Ganiu, in an open letter requested an intra-party debate to overcome the situation and called on party leader Ahmeti to use his political and statutory authority to find a solution to preserve party unity. They blame Artan Grubi for the situation in the party.

TV21 television reported that allegedly in order to appease the disaffected, a proposal was submitted to Osmani to be removed from the post of minister, but that they rejected the proposal stating that the problem was Grubi and some of the other ministers.

Ahmeti said yesterday in Tetovo that DUI can function without any individual because it has stable structures.

- No doubt that DUI has established stable structures that can function without Ali Ahmeti, Blerim Bejeti, Musa Xhaferi, Izet Mejiti. This is a national investment that has a strong foundation and strong support. For 20 years, he has invested in the staff of the party. The Council and the Congress are functional, there is no place for anarchy, said Ahmeti.
