Workers hired by the Municipality of Kisela Voda and the Municipality of Butel these days are working intensively on clearing illegal landfills at several locations in these Skopje municipalities.

Namely, as informed by the Municipality of Kisela Voda, the general cleaning of several locations continues and today the seasonal workers are working on the move that follows the South Boulevard to the place called Rampa, where Kisela Voda begins. As explained by the Municipality, it is a border street with the Municipality of Centar, in the vicinity of which a huge amount of municipal waste is accumulated. For this location, as they say from there, although it is under the jurisdiction of another local self-government, the Municipality of Kisela Voda receives numerous complaints every day about unhygienic. That is why they explain from the municipality, since this morning the grass areas have been mowed there, sweeping, the accumulated garbage is being cleaned with a truck, the streets and sidewalks are being washed with a tanker.

It is our obligation to provide the citizens with a clean and healthy environment. In this particular situation, the South Boulevard is only 200 meters from Boris Trajkovski Boulevard, which is the main artery of Kisela Voda, but also of Skopje. It is important for us what the entrance of our home and the home itself looks like - said the mayor Orce Gjorgjievski.

Otherwise, during yesterday, the Park of the Defenders in Dracevo was thoroughly cleaned. Here, many of our fellow citizens spend their free time with their children, so special attention was paid to the cleaning of children's playgrounds and spaces provided for children's play. Of course, the sweeping of the leaves, the collection of waste, the washing of the sidewalks were not absent here either. According to the announcements, the general cleaning of the municipality of Kisela Voda continues in the next period.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Butel, Darko Kostovski, also posted photos on the social networks from the already cleaned locations in the municipality. These are places where unscrupulous citizens dumped all kinds of rubble and waste.
