In the international operation "Musala", one of the strongest criminal groups was dismantled, after the chief logistician and accountant of the clan were handcuffed.

The Montenegrin citizen living in Novi Sad, Nebojsa P. (50), known as Nebo, is one of those arrested in the police operation "Musala" against the Balkan mafia, which involves eight countries, including Serbia.

Apart from drug trafficking, there is a suspicion of money laundering, by buying football players.

"The criminal group not only traded in drugs, they also committed other crimes, theft, money laundering, extortion, kidnapping and murder. Colombian police also have evidence that they bought and sold footballers around the world in order to put cocaine money into legal channels. "It was this activity that helped the investigators, as it tracked money from player sales." published the Spanish ABC, without stating which football transfers are in question.

According to the police, Nebojsa P. he often traveled to Serbia and practically commanded the clan.

"His job was to ensure the arrival of cocaine from South America, via Spain, to Europe. It was reported that he had visited Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga in the previous months, before traveling to South America. "An offshore meeting was recorded, at which details of that cargo were agreed, and after all the negotiations this year, he traveled to the Dominican Republic in January, then to Europe, and then to Dubai with the chief," investigators found.

Nebojsa was arrested in an apartment in Tarragona, where he was staying for some time. As soon as he heard the police, he cut his cell phone in half and threw it out the window.

Most people were arrested in Slovenia during the operation. Among those arrested (61) is not the organizer of the group, which is believed to run the Dubai business.

Although his name or nickname have not been released, it is believed that it is the mysterious Tito, who is allegedly a Serb and is the main negotiator between the clans and the drug cartel. According to the information published by the Spanish media, Tito managed to hide his true identity even from the agents of the American DEA.
