The mayor Danela Arsovska tonight, in a guest appearance on TV21, he hinted that there will not be free public transport in Skopje as long as the economic and energy crisis lasts.

"We promised free public transportation and started with some stages of realization. However, it is fair to say that no one expected such a big economic crisis. The prices of energy, the prices of petroleum products, the prices of fuel oil, are so very high, that even now what we are doing is something that burdens the budget of the city of Skopje. I cannot say at what stage we will do it. However, everything that was stated in the program "For a modern Skopje" will be realized, that is our goal," said Arsovska in the show "Click Plus".

"We are thinking about reforming public transport. "Preparations are underway, but we have to overcome this crisis first, because energy prices affect this," she added.
