Official: Simic on loan from Igokea to Borac Banja Luka

Macedonian national team member Teodor Simic which has been part of until now Barcelona, decided on a new challenge. He accepted the offer from the Bosnian club Igokea, and he will spend the first season as a loan player Borac Banja Luka (BiH), and there will be serious playing "space" in the ABA 2 league.

Simic continued with the representative duties, as part of the senior selection of Macedonia. And in the meantime, one of the youngest members of the selection team, Alekandar Jonchevski, decided his playing status.

After parting with Barca, our highest senior representative will continue his career as a player of the ABA league, Igokea from Aleksandrovac.

Our 18-year-old basketball player agreed to a multi-year contract with the current champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a club that has successfully led the recent the coach of our best selection, Dragan Bajić.

According to the agreement, in the first season of the contractual obligation with the club from Laktasi, Simic will spend it as a loan player in the team of Borac from Banja Luka, where through the matches in the ABA 2 league he will collect his minutes and playing experience, necessary for upgrading the existing talent.

He was the best player in our "Under 18" selection at the championship in Izmir, he averaged 15.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and one successful pass at the gathering of the best juniors in Europe. This will also be his first senior challenge after the period spent in the youth selections of the Catalan giant.
