All speculation is over, Mohamed Salah remains in Liverpool. The Egyptian signed a new contract that will last until July 2025.

- Liverpool are very pleased to confirm that Mohamed Salah has signed a new long-term contract with the club - announced from Anfield.

The striker was chosen as the player of the season in the Premier League, and was also the best in the choice of journalists.

Salah has been in Liverpool for five years. During that time he played 254 games and scored 156 goals.

- I feel great and happy, I look forward to winning new trophies. This is a happy day for everyone. It took us a while, but now everything is done and we can focus on what comes next. You've all seen in previous years that this team has only gone from strength to strength. Last season we came close to winning four cups, but unfortunately in the last week of the season we lost two. I think we are in a good position, we also have new players. We just have to keep working hard, have a good vision and be positive - Salah said.
