The American Jesse Marsh is no longer the manager of Leeds. After yesterday's defeat by Nottingham Forest (0:1), the team found itself in the relegation zone from Premier League.

After a successful stint at Red Bull Salzburg and a less successful stint at Leipzig in February 2022, Marsh succeeded the legendary Marcel Bielsa at the helm of Leeds and managed to stay in the Premier League.

The last victory in the Premier League was achieved by the team on November 5 against Bournemouth (4:3), and since then it has been in a series of seven matches without a win. Only three points with four defeats.

– We want to commend Jesse and his colleagues for their work and wish them all the best in the future. The process of finding a new manager is underway - announced from Leeds.

Leeds face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday, then welcome the same rivals to Elland Road on Sunday. After 21 games played in the Premier League, Leeds are 17th in the table with 18 points, the same as Everton.
