Montenegrin national team player Bozo Andzelic (30) is the new reinforcement for Vardar next season. He plays as a midfielder and in Vardar he comes from Hungarian Ferencvaros where he has been playing since 2018.

The contract with Andzelic is signed for one season with the possibility of extending another if the club is satisfied with his games. The Montenegrin is the second reinforcement in the team for next season, after the Slovenian Nets Cechte who comes from the Bundesliga.

Andzelic is the current member of the national team of Montenegro and has more than 60 appearances for the national team and over 100 goals scored. He was part of the last four European Championships of his national team, in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022. He played at the last European Championship in Hungary where he scored 20 goals for Montenegro, mostly against Macedonia and Iceland, six each.

In the toy career Andzelic has played for the team of Red Star, Malmo, Chegl and Metalurg, and then left for Ferencvaros. He also played with Metalurg in Group D of the EHF Champions League and scored a total of 32 goals.

Vardar secured the 15 Cup title after the triumph in the final over Europharm Pelister from 23:22 on Sunday in Kavadarci. The "Red-Blacks" are close to defending the title, and they have to play two more rounds in the championship. With two victories (against Butel and Tikves) they will secure 15 titles.
