Thirty years of German-Macedonian cooperation, learning from each other, building bridges between our countries and their people. Numerous projects are proof of this cooperation. The goal was and the goal is for the country to move forward on its way to full Euro-Atlantic integration, to have sustainable development for a better life for people in harmony with nature and the environment, emphasized German Ambassador Anke Holstein in her address at the celebration on the occasion of three decades of cooperation. between Germany and North Macedonia which takes place this afternoon at the School in the City Park.

The projects, as he indicated, were implemented by various German participants, including the embassy, ​​in the closest coordination and cooperation with partners in North Macedonia, to whom we sincerely thank for that.

– Seven of the German participants are present today so you can get to know them better. The Goethe Institute stands for cultural exchange – through music, film and art, and of course working with our difficult German language. The German Academic Exchange Service takes care of exchanges in the field of education and study programs. The delegation of the German economy supports German companies in North Macedonia and Macedonian companies that are active or want to be active in Germany and maintains a wide network. Our political foundations "Korad Adenauer" and "Friedrich Ebert" take care of political education and respect for democracy, Holstein said.

The credit bank for reconstruction KfV, the German ambassador added, supports financial projects for sustainable development, primarily in the area of ​​the environment and energy. The Society for International Cooperation GIZ, on the other hand, supports, plans and finances various future-oriented projects. GIZ implements the Super Schools Program in the region, which allows students from the region to meet, break prejudices and create friendships and coexistence in the region, Holstein said.

The celebration of "30 years of German-Macedonian cooperation" organized by the Embassy of Germany is accompanied by a cultural program and entertainment activities in the City Park in Skopje.
