The purchase price for "Smederevka" should be 10 denars, and for "Vranec" 12 denars. To all growers who have delivered grapes below these prices, the difference will be reimbursed by the wineries.

This was agreed today, after two and a half hours of negotiations between the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Arjanit Hoxha and representatives of the wineries.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the price correction will take effect immediately, starting tonight, and Hoxha reaffirmed the position that the additional measure of two denars for growers will continue.

- The ransom will continue to flow smoothly. We expect to have a bigger purchase in a week, which will make an initial cut of the purchased quantities, states MAFWE.

The Minister, in agreement with the wineries, promised that the entire quantity of produced grapes will be purchased and not a single kilogram will be left unpurchased.

A few days ago, the wineries announced the purchase prices of grapes, according to which 11 denars were provided for "Smederevka" and 12 denars for "Vranec".

Tonight, Minister Arianit Hoxha on his Facebook profile expressed deep understanding of the hard work of growers and pointed out that any price offered for the purchase of grapes will never be fair when compared to the effort.
