The Ministry of Health says that a plan has been drawn up to rationalize costs in health facilities

After the adoption of the measures and recommendations for the rational use of electricity by the Economic and Energy Council of the Government on the eve of the heating season, a decision was made for public health institutions to conclude contracts for electricity through ESM sales at a more favorable price than the stock exchange price, the Ministry of Health announced. .

From there, they point out that a plan has been drawn up in coordination with the health institutions and guidelines have been given to all public health institutions, in order to rationalize the bills and expenses for this purpose, but at the same time, as they say, the care of patients and the provision of health care remains the top priority of Ministry of Health and public health institutions.

So far, as they state, 24 health facilities have signed an agreement with ESM sales, three of which are in the signing phase and they are already receiving electricity at a much more favorable price.

- Within the administrative building of the Ministry of Health, no additional heating devices are used and central heating from the clinical complex is used. A special administrative person has been appointed in the Ministry to check the rational use of electricity. Respecting the sensitivity of the health sector, some of the measures refer to the rational use of lighting, regularly changing the filters of the air conditioners, replacing old windows with energy efficient ones, installing energy-saving light bulbs, etc., the announcement states.
